Built for professional fabricators, steel installers and workshop environments, the S355CPS Gen 2 is Evolution’s most advanced mains-powered 355mm cold-cut chop saw. Engineered for faster cutting, better accuracy and lower cost per cut.
Unlike abrasive saws, the S355CPS Gen 2 uses Cermet Carbide blade technology to cut steel up to 4x faster, producing smooth, burr-free finishes with virtually no sparks, no harmful dust and minimal heat build-up. Workpieces stay cool to the touch and can be handled, fitted or welded immediately - saving time and reducing secondary finishing.
At the centre of the S355CPS Gen 2 performance is Evolution’s new EVOMAX Intelligent Motor Technology, an active blade speed optimisation system that manages motor load to maintain cutting efficiency and extend blade life by up to 30%. Paired with the supplied EVOMAX 355mm Mild Steel blade, independently proven to achieve over 3,500 cuts* through 4” mild steel tube, it delivers exceptional blade life and lower cost per cut in demanding fabrication environments.
For cutting accuracy, the integrated Shadow Line guide projects the exact blade path directly onto the workpiece, making alignment faster and more precise. Unlike traditional laser guides, Shadow Line remains permanently aligned with the blade for dependable long-term accuracy.
Built around a heavy-duty cast aluminium base, with steel wear plate and cast iron fences, the S355CPS Gen 2 is designed for strength, rigidity and repeatable precision under daily trade use. The quick-release ACME-thread vice system, V-block clamp adaptor and fast-adjust mitre fence provide secure, efficient setup across a wide range of steel profiles and mitre cuts.
