Recycling & WEEE
Making Recycling Simple
Evolution Power Tools are keen to keep the environmental impact of making and using power tools to a minimum. We are committed to offering warranty servicing to customers on their goods for as long as it is feasible to keep fixing them.
When it is no longer possible to repair electrical items, or when a customer believes, the goods have come to the end of their useful life you can recycle your electrical and electronic devices free at your local recycling centre. To find your nearest centre, visit the Recycle More website and type in your postcode.
What About Batteries?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and the Battery Directive – transposed into local law - requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.
Any item that is marked with the ‘crossed through wheelie bin’ icon must not be disposed of with general household waste and should be taken to a recycling centre for treatment, recycling, or disposal; or returned to the point of purchase for disposal in line with the European Directive (2012/19/EU) on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
To find more information on WEEE recycling and to locate your nearest recycling centre please visit the Recycle More website.
If you don't have a local disposal facility and wish to return an item that was purchased via the UK Webstore, for us to process for recycling, please send it back, by post, to our head office address and we will take care of the rest. *Please note that many mail carriers are unable to ship rechargeable batteries, so using the Recycle More website is often the easiest and least expensive option.
