Description

The Evolution Porcelain Disc Cutter Blade is engineered for professionals who want the smoothest, easiest cut through high-fired porcelain tiles.

Modern porcelain paving is exceptionally hard, dense and durable, and those same properties make it more challenging to cut than traditional concrete or natural stone. Standard segmented masonry blades can create excessive vibration, heat and cutting resistance, increasing the risk of an uneven or chipped finished edge.

The Evolution 150mm Porcelain & Tile Diamond Blade is engineered specifically for these demanding materials. Its specialist turbo mesh rim provides a fine, controlled cutting action while helping clear debris and manage heat around the cutting edge. This allows the blade to move efficiently through dense porcelain while helping reduce chipping along the cut line.

A reinforced stabiliser ring strengthens the blade core and helps resist flex and vibration during use. This additional stability is particularly important when cutting large-format porcelain paving, where consistent blade alignment supports straighter, more accurate results.

The blade’s thin-kerf profile removes less material as it cuts, reducing resistance and load on the machine while supporting fast, efficient progress through hard porcelain and tile.

With a 150mm diameter and 22.23mm bore, the porcelain blade is compatible with Evolution’s R150DCT range and other suitable 150mm disc cutters. Pair it with the R150DCT-PRO and its integrated dual-sided water supply for Evolution’s purpose-designed porcelain paving cutting system.

Material and usage guidance

The 150mm Porcelain & Tile Diamond Blade is suitable for cutting:

  • Porcelain paving slabs
  • Porcelain tiles
  • Ceramic tiles
  • Natural stone tiles

For the best results, place the material on a flat, stable and fully supported surface. Mark the cutting line clearly and guide the blade steadily through the material without applying excessive pressure or twisting the machine.

Continuous water application is recommended when cutting porcelain to cool the blade and material, control dust and help reduce chipping.

Features

  • Compatible with the R150DCT-PRO 150mm Disc Cutter.
  • Engineered for modern porcelain: Designed around the hardness, density and brittle surface of modern porcelain paving and tiles. Not simply adapted from a general-purpose masonry blade.
  • Turbo mesh diamond rim: Creates a fine cutting action while helping remove debris from the cut, supporting fast, controlled progress and a cleaner finished edge.
  • Reduced-chipping design: The specialist rim maintains more consistent contact with the material than a conventional segmented masonry blade, helping reduce breakout and chipping along the cut line.
  • Reinforced stabiliser ring: Adds rigidity to the blade core to help resist flex, vibration and sideways movement during demanding cuts.
  • Max Cut Depth: 40mm on Evolution R150DCT Saws.
  • Improved cutting accuracy: Greater blade stability helps maintain alignment for straighter, more controlled cuts across large porcelain paving slabs.
  • Thin-kerf profile: Removes less material to reduce cutting resistance and machine load while helping limit heat generation around the cutting edge.
  • Heat-management technology: The combination of the turbo mesh rim and thin cutting profile helps manage heat when working through extremely dense materials.
  • 150mm diameter and 22.23mm bore: Compatible with the Evolution R150DCT range and other suitable 150mm disc cutters using the same blade and bore sizes.
  • Optimised R150DCT-PRO pairing: Works with the cutter’s dual-sided water feed to cool the blade and material, control dust and support clean, controlled porcelain cutting.
