Description

Step up from an angle grinder with the Evolution R150DCT 150mm Electric Disc Cutter. Purpose-built for cutting paving and masonry, its dedicated two-handed design offers improved control, balance and working posture compared with using a grinder adapted with a masonry blade.

The powerful 1600W motor and 150mm blade provide a maximum cutting depth of 53mm, allowing common paving slabs to be cut in a single pass. Its belt-drive system separates the motor from the blade, improving weight distribution and balance while helping reduce vibration for smoother, more controlled cutting. While the wheeled metal skid plate supports the mini disc cutter and guides it smoothly across the material for straighter, more accurate results.

An active load indicator provides real-time feedback as you cut, helping you maintain an effective cutting speed without overloading the motor. The rubber over-moulded grip supports comfortable, controlled handling, while the integrated rafter hook lets you hang the machine securely when it is not in use.

Soft-start technology provides a smooth, controlled start, while the electronic blade brake quickly stops the blade after the trigger is released. A built-in 25mm extraction port also allows connection to a suitable M-class dust extractor to help control airborne dust while cutting.

Supplied with an Evolution Essential Segmented Diamond Blade for cutting concrete, brick, paving and other common masonry materials, the R150DCT is a mini disc cutter that combines compact cutting performance with practical features for landscaping, renovation and general building projects.

Blade and material guidance

The included 150mm Endurance Segmented Diamond Blade features 30% more diamond grit than our Essential blade. Providing a durable cutting solution for demanding work across concrete, brick, paving and masonry and more.

The R150DCT can also cut porcelain when fitted with the appropriate specialist porcelain diamond blade. For the best cutting performance, water should be applied separately using a suitable external water supply.

Trade-up option

Choose the R150DCT-PRO for integrated dual-sided water suppression and a longer 3.5m power cable. It is the strongest choice for frequent porcelain cutting and applications where controlling dust at source is a priority.

3 Years Warranty

  • Any parts which are replaced will become the property of Evolution.
  • The repair or replacement of your machine under warranty will not extend the period of warranty.
  • The warranty provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • The repair or replacement of your machine (at Evolution’s discretion), if your machine is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within the warranty period (if any part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Evolution will replace it with a functional replacement part).
  • Overseas users should contact the official importer for that country.
Evolution does not warrant the repair or replacement of a product when the following has occurred;
  • Normal wear and tear (eg. Fuse, Fluids/Lubricants, Blades, etc.)
  • Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the machine which is not in use with Evolution’s user guide.
  • Lack of servicing.
  • Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Evolution.

3 Years Warranty

Please keep your proof of purchase / delivery.
  • The warranty becomes effective at the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if this is later).
  • You must provide proof of delivery/ purchase before any work can be carried out on your machine. Without this proof, any work carried out will be chargeable. Please keep your receipt or delivery note.
  • All work will be carried out by Evolution.
  • Any parts which are replaced will become the property of Evolution.
  • The repair or replacement of your machine under warranty will not extend the period of warranty.
  • The warranty provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • The repair or replacement of your machine (at Evolution’s discretion), if your machine is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within the warranty period (if any part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Evolution will replace it with a functional replacement part).
  • Overseas users should contact the official importer for that country.
Evolution does not warrant the repair or replacement of a product when the following has occurred;
  • Normal wear and tear (eg. Fuse, Fluids/Lubricants, Blades, etc.)
  • Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the machine which is not in use with Evolution’s user guide.
  • Lack of servicing.
  • Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Evolution.
  • Use of parts and accessories which are not Evolution Genuine Components.
  • Faulty installation (except installation by Evolution).
  • Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Evolution.
